Marketing juneberries

It is safe to say that juneberries are already widely appealing, and consumers are very ready to come to u-pick farms and farm markets and stands to get them.  Chefs, wineries, and small-scale food processors are already conjuring uses for this tasty and unique fruit.

Since the summer of 2010, we have brought fresh and frozen juneberries to many hundreds of consumers for a taste.

The reaction? 
Very promising.

Fresh juneberries are in short supply, and of increasing interest – everything from a truckload order from the West Coast to farm market patrons looking for a pint or two.
